The technical team from Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Forestry (MALFF), the General Directorate of Forests, Coffee, and Industrial Plants, is collaborating with the Conservation International Timor-Leste (CI-TL), a technical team from the Secretary of State for Land and Property and the community held a series of activities of pillar instillation in the protected area of Mount Kutulau.
The total of 395 pillars that was installed on Mount Kutulau at 4,973 ha, protected areas of Mount Kutulau, comprising 5 sucos; Suco Fatumasin Leorema; Suco of Fahilebo; Suco Ulmera and Suco of Mota ulun.
Hoping that this endeavor will be a positive beginning toward protecting our precious Mount Kutulau forests and animals, as well as inspiring communities and community leaders to create further protected areas in the future.
